On Sunday 15 August, Archbishop Denis Hart launched the latest book by Fr Ken Barker MGL, His Name Is Mercy, at St Benedict’s Parish, Burwood.

The launch, which followed Mass concelebrated by Archbishop Hart, Fr Barker and parish priest Fr Tony Schick MGL, was attended by parishioners, friends and members of the Youth Mission Team. Archbishop Hart said he commended the book “with the strongest recommendation possible” as a means of assisting people to find a new perspective on the Christian approach to suffering, forgiveness, hope and peace.

“What I found riveting and interesting were the stories of unimaginable forgiveness, showing that the journey to forgiveness is often difficult and challenging, heartrending, and yet it is the only
way to peace.”
